My photographs visualize emotions through physical metaphors that bring forth what otherwise travels quietly within.
Büyükada, İstanbul Türkıye - 2023
I was born and raised in Istanbul, Türkiye. I was introduced to photography as a child within a family of camera enthusiasts. I moved to the United States in 2016 to study acting. Theater, as a result, served as a catalyst for my pursuit of art.
I graduated from Northwestern University’s Art, Theory and Practice Department with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art, a double major in film and a minor in theater.
I live and work in New Orleans, Louisiana.
